Well as the title suggests, I'm sure you must be thinking that I'm a fool who wants to write about the first day of her life, when no one on earth can even remember it actually !
You are right . . .
I don't remember the first day of my life either, but as some one has rightly said "Each day is a new day, each day is a new beginning." Well said, but less thought about.
We are so busy with ourselves, our miseries, our sorrows, our griefs, our complaints...that we dont see what we are actually losing out in life.
We waste our time in anger and then regret.
We waste our time in pain and then cry.
But how many of us really try? Try to be free from the grip of oneself ?
Yes no one else but we are the modern slaves of our very own traditional selves.
The world has changed, and changed for the better they say...but i ask again....Really ???
The answer is within us. We have moved on from carts to cruises, from floppies to DVDs, from galli cricket to casinos, but have we really grown from within? Have we really overcome our fears, our weeknesses our flaws? I doubt...neither have I !
But we can try...it does seem difficult, but it wouldn't be much of a pain, i guess. More so its easier to change oneself than to change others.
Bottom line...
Stop looking around for peace because it's right inside you.
Stop complaining about the world, it's always going to be mean to you.
Stop running behind success, depend only on your hard work and determination.
Stop expecting love in return, if it belongs to you, you will have it.
Stop getting angry on life, you have no option, but to live it.
Remember you can never change the direction of the winds, but can always adjust your sails !
Life's like that too...you can do nothing about it. So go ahead and live it to the fullest.
And if pain or anger or worry turns you down someday, remember you have another chance to cheer up and thats "tomorrow" . . . Each day is a new day, each day is a new beginning."
So you wake up the other day and say to your self . . . "Today is the first day of my life."
